This youth-oriented non-profit performing arts organization was founded in 1991 when the Detroit Institute of Arts was forced to cut the perenially popular Detroit Youtheatre programming due to budgetary constraints. The company is dedicated to presenting performing arts that enlighten and educate youth audiences. They also offer a conservatory program designed to teach children the basics of theatre and acting.
